Details

This product is a conductive silver paste from Canrd, developed for use in solid-state battery electrodes, raw materials, and separators. Available in three formulations with different silver contents (83%, 77%, and 85%), it offers flexibility for various conductive layer requirements in battery research. The paste is designed for screen printing using 150–300 mesh screens and achieves a scratch hardness of 65–80 degrees after proper curing. Curing options include high-temperature, low-temperature, or room-temperature processes. To ensure consistent electrical performance, the paste should be stored refrigerated, with the high-temperature cured variant recommended for summer transport. Prior to use, thorough mixing and careful addition of diluent (less than 5%) are advised. The substrate must be completely clean to maintain adhesion and conductivity. This material is suitable for printed electrode fabrication in advanced battery development, where controlled sheet resistance and reliable film properties are critical.

Packaging, Transportation and Storage:

Due to the special properties of the products, it is recommended to store them under frozen or refrigerated conditions as specified immediately upon receipt.

Operating Instructions for Canrd-A-01 Conductive Silver Paste:

Take the Canrd-A-01 conductive silver paste out of the freezer compartment before use, leave it at room temperature to thaw naturally, and stir it thoroughly prior to application. No thinner is required for normal uncured paste; it can be used directly.

Operating Instructions for Silver Paste Thinner:

If Canrd-A-01 conductive silver paste suffers slight solidification resulting from improper transportation or storage, rendering it unfit for blade coating or printing tests, add 5% to 20% silver paste thinner by weight according to the severity of solidification, stir the mixture evenly, and then use it.

1. Use 150-300 mesh polyester or stainless steel screen printing, with a scratch hardness of 65-80 degrees;

2. Mix thoroughly before use. Add diluent or resistance regulator and stir evenly before use. It is recommended to stir slowly in the same direction;

3. The printing substrate must be cleaned thoroughly. If there are residual oils, oxides, hand sweat, and other pollutants, it will seriously reduce adhesion and electrical performance;

4. Sufficient ink must be used during printing, otherwise it will affect printing performance and ink printing thickness, leading to changes in resistance;

5. To ensure consistent ink performance, it is advisable to maintain the same viscosity during printing; When adding diluent, the silver paste should be collected and mixed with a portion of the new silver paste. Then, an appropriate amount (less than 5%) of specialized diluent should be added and thoroughly stirred until uniform;

6. Curing must be thorough, otherwise the desired characteristics cannot be obtained.

Safe use:

If the slurry is accidentally swallowed, inhaled, or comes into contact with the skin, it is harmful. Therefore, it should be cleaned immediately after use, and contact with eyes, skin, or clothing should be avoided. Do not approach fire or combustibles. Because it is flammable, it should be covered tightly when not in use to avoid the entry of volatile gases, and air circulation should be maintained during use.
