This product is a sodium-ion negative electrode strip developed for advanced battery research and experimental material applications. Manufactured by Huizhou Canrd New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., the strip features high-purity sodium foil (>99.7%) with a smooth, glossy surface that resists oxidation, ensuring stable handling during assembly. Available with or without aluminum foil backing, the product is designed to support a range of anode studies and cell configurations. The sodium foil is coated on one side when aluminum foil is used, with the sodium strip centered and dimensions (from 0.07 to 0.45 mm in thickness, 100–120 mm in width, and lengths up to 2000 mm) customizable to research needs. The electrode strip is suitable for sodium-ion battery development, with individual roll packaging for convenience. Users are advised to follow strict unpacking procedures in dry rooms or glove boxes to maintain integrity, as the product is made-to-order and non-returnable unless defective.

A video must be recorded before unpacking the product. This video must include the dew point in the dry room or glove box, water and oxygen levels, the product production date, and a clear appearance. Any abnormal appearance after unpacking without video evidence will not be handled (appearance abnormalities after the expiration date will not be accepted).

1. Video the unpacking environment: a dry room (dew point -45°C) or a glove box with water and oxygen levels (H₂O, O₂ <1 ppm).

2. Photograph the can/package to ensure the seal is intact and the production date is displayed. If the packaging is intact, open the package and inspect. Take a close-up photo of the product to clearly see its true condition. Then, remove the product and place it on a stainless steel or porcelain plate for close inspection. Take a small amount of product and take a clear, local photo. The entire unpacking video must be recorded continuously.

Failure to follow the instructions will be considered a product defect caused by the user.

This product is custom-made and will not be returned or exchanged unless there is a quality issue.

Specifications for the aluminum foil-backed sodium electrode strip: The electrode strip with aluminum foil backing is coated with sodium on one side, with the sodium strip centered, and the aluminum foil is 150mm wide. The dimensions specified (thickness/width/length) are for the sodium strip only and do not include the aluminum foil and the release film on both sides.

The sodium foil thickness can be customized from 70 to 500 micrometers, with standard widths of 100-120mm, but other sizes can also be customized. Sodium strips can be made with or without aluminum foil. For sodium strips below 300um, it is recommended to use aluminum foil to facilitate film removal; otherwise, it may be difficult to remove the film.

For strips without aluminum foil, when removing the film, it is necessary to carefully peel off the transparent film from both sides simultaneously to prevent tearing.

The sodium foil has a purity of >99.7%, with a smooth and glossy surface, and does not darken due to oxidation. Each roll is individually packaged for convenience.
