This product is developed for lithium battery research and energy material development, formulated as 1.0 M LiFSI dissolved in a 1:1 volumetric mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC) and diethyl carbonate (DEC). The use of lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (LiFSI) as the conducting salt provides enhanced ionic conductivity, thermal stability, and compatibility with high-voltage cathode materials, making it suitable for next-generation battery systems such as lithium metal and high-energy-density cells. The EC:DEC solvent system ensures good film-forming properties on graphite anodes and low viscosity for improved ion transport. Available in quantities from 50 g to 1 kg, this electrolyte is commonly employed in coin-cell and pouch-cell testing, as well as electrochemical characterization studies in academic and industrial laboratories focused on lithium-ion and lithium-metal battery optimization.
