Separator & Materials Testing

Separator and other functional materials are evaluated through a comprehensive set of performance tests, including thickness and width uniformity, mechanical strength (puncture strength, MD/TD tensile strength), air permeability, and thermal shrinkage after coating at elevated temperature. In addition, appearance inspection, chemical compliance (RoHS), and overall performance judgement are conducted to assess material consistency and reliability. These evaluations provide critical data to verify the separator’s mechanical integrity, thermal stability, and compatibility with battery systems, supporting safe, efficient operation and long-term battery reliability.
