Details

This product is designed for use as a cathode electrode plate in aqueous zinc-ion battery research. Fabricated on a carbon-coated copper foil substrate, the electrode features a single-sided coating of active zinc-based materials (such as pure zinc or alloy zinc powder) applied via a rolling process, offering controllable loading and good processability. The electrode plate is intended for testing in standard laboratory environments using a 2M zinc sulfate electrolyte, without requiring assembly inside a glove box. It must be tested according to the recommended electrolyte and methods to achieve consistent performance. Common applications include experimental studies of zinc battery cathodes, where the electrode's adjustable dimensions and high active material loading support reproducible testing. Users should note the thin, lightweight copper foil substrate may be prone to minor surface imperfections such as creases or indentations during handling.

The electrolyte is water-based electrolyte, please do not put it in the glove box

The electrolyte used during testing is 2M zinc sulfate electrolyte

Baking conditions for cathode: Bake at 100 ℃ for 2 hours

1. The cathode electrode sheet of water-based zinc ion batteries is coated with active materials (pure zinc powder, alloy zinc powder) on the surface of the current collector, and then rolled, die cut, etc. to make the electrode sheet. The loading capacity is high, controllable, and the processability is good. The parameter size of the electrode sheet can be adjusted

2. The battery does not need to be assembled in a glove box and can be used in a laboratory environment

3. This product must be tested in accordance with the test methods and electrolytes recommended by Coulter to achieve the corresponding performance.
Since the test method and electrolyte have a great influence on the performance of the battery, any change in the test method or electrolyte may reduce the performance of the pole piece; be sure to check this information before purchasing.

Defect problem of zinc anode electrode: The copper foil substrate is very thin and light, which can easily cause unevenness such as indentation and creases during production, packaging, and transportation.
