This product is formulated for research in lithium-sulfur battery systems, featuring a 1.25 M concentration of LiTFSI dissolved in a 1:1 volume ratio of 1,3-dioxolane (DOL) and dimethoxyethane (DME), with 2.0% LiNO₃ additive. The electrolyte composition is designed to enhance polysulfide solubility and suppress the shuttle effect, a common challenge in Li–S cells. LiNO₃ contributes to the formation of a stable solid-electrolyte interphase on the lithium metal anode, improving coulombic efficiency and cycle life.
