Cell Design Information:

Battery Chemistry MnO₂–Zn battery
Model 126510
Cell Dimensions (mm) 12 mm (T) × 65 mm (W) × 100 mm (L); cell body: 65 × 65 mm
Standard Charge/Discharge Current (A) 1–2
Charge Cut-off Voltage (V) 1.9
Discharge Cut-off Voltage (V) 1.0
Electrolyte Used for the Next-page Test Curve 2 M ZnSO₄ electrolyte (website product: “Zinc ion electrolyte”)
Cycle Life ≥200 cycles under the standard protocol

Handling and Test Notes:

  1. Before testing, compress the cell with aluminum plates to the thickness value indicated on the label. Fill with 10–30 mL electrolyte until fully filled, rest for 24 h, then start testing. Test the cell upright with tabs facing upward.
  2. Standard protocol: 1 A CC charge to 1.9 V; rest 10 min; 2 A constant-current discharge to 1.0 V; rest 10 min; repeat for 200 cycles. If Coulombic efficiency is <100% during the early stage, replenish electrolyte in time.
  3. Connect according to the “+” and “–” marks on the cell surface. Reversed polarity may cause rapid heat generation.
  4. Manual measurements may include tolerances.
  5. Operating ambient temperature: 5–40 °C; charging ambient temperature: 20–35 °C.
  6. Do not allow metal tools to contact both terminals at the same time; instantaneous high current may damage the cell.
  7. The cell is not waterproof. Humid environments may cause leakage current or corrosion.

Test Data:

MnO₂ dry cell, 1.2 Ah, 126510 stacked structure (Product Code: CU-PO-ZE-103111)

Electrolyte Used for Testing: 2 M ZnSO₄ electrolyte

Test Procedure: Before testing, compress the cell between aluminum plates to the specified thickness indicated on the label. Inject 30 mL of electrolyte and allow the cell to stand for 24 hours before testing. Test at 25 °C: charge at 2 A constant current (CC) to 1.9 V; rest for 10 min; discharge at 2 A constant current to 1.0 V; rest for 10 min; repeat for 200 cycles.
