Details

This product is a water-based polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsion designed for use as a binder in energy storage and experimental materials, particularly for supercapacitor electrodes. As a milky-white dispersed concentrate stabilized with nonionic surfactants, it provides excellent chemical resistance to strong acids, alkalis, and oxidants, along with outstanding thermal stability, low-temperature tolerance, abrasion resistance, and frequency-independent electrical insulation. The emulsion is typically used to prepare electrode coatings or composite films requiring a high-performance polymeric binder. Due to the risk of agglomeration and scrap below 5°C, transport and storage must maintain temperatures above this threshold, and delivery cannot be arranged to cold regions during winter.

This product is a milky white liquid, water-based binder, which is a dispersed concentrated solution formed by polytetrafluoroethylene after polymerization in the presence of nonionic surfactants.

The product treated with the dispersed concentrated solution has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, such as resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, etc. It has outstanding heat resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance, excellent electrical insulation, and is not affected by temperature and frequency.
