This aluminum-plastic film, with a thickness of 113 µm from Toppan, is developed for lithium-ion battery packaging, specifically designed for soft pack battery applications. It offers excellent resistance to mechanical damage and good electrolyte compatibility, ensuring reliable performance in pouch cell assembly. The material is supplied in moisture-proof, airtight packaging to maintain its integrity during storage under controlled conditions (5–40 °C, ≤65% RH) and has a shelf life of two years. Available in multiple width and length combinations (e.g., 200 mm × 5 m or 120 mm × 280 m), it is a practical choice for research-scale and limited production needs in energy material development. Care must be taken to avoid contamination during handling and transport, as improper storage can degrade its protective properties.
