This product is designed for use as a high-performance component in button cell batteries, specifically as an aluminum-plated battery case from Canrd. The aluminum coating, approximately 4 µm thick, enhances the oxidation resistance of the stainless steel substrate and improves the electrochemical stability window of the positive electrode casing. This reduces or prevents dissolution of iron elements from the casing and their migration to the negative electrode, thereby supporting battery longevity and reliability. Commonly used in battery research and assembly, this case is available in various configurations including gaskets, springs, and full CR2025 or CR2032 sets, with a shelf life of six months. Its tailored plating and material selection make it suitable for applications requiring consistent electrochemical performance.
