Details

This product is designed for researchers evaluating high-voltage lithium cobalt oxide (LCO) cathode materials in lithium-ion battery systems. Based on a high-voltage LCO formulation with a cutoff voltage of 4.45V, the electrode sheet is available in rolled or unrolled formats and can be customized with single-sided or double-sided coating. To achieve optimal electrochemical performance, it requires the use of recommended electrolytes—specifically Canrd’s KLD-1376 lithium cobaltate electrolyte or KLD-5V06 5V high-voltage electrolyte—and strict adherence to specified testing protocols including pressing, baking at 105°C, and controlled formation cycles. Typical applications include rate capability and cycle life studies under 25°C conditions, making this electrode suitable for fundamental battery research and cathode material screening. Users are advised to follow the provided test methods closely, as deviations may significantly alter performance outcomes.

The material used for this electrode sheet is lithium cobaltate (high voltage type) with a cutoff voltage of 4.45V. The electrolytes used for testing are lithium cobaltate electrolyte (KLD-1376) and 5V high voltage electrolyte (KLD-5V06).

The electrode sheet needs to be rolled (compression is recommended according to the lowest parameter range for electrode sheet compression), baked at 105°C for 4 hours, allowed to stand for 8 hours after injection, and sealed with a pressure of 1300 psi after constant current charging for the positive electrode sheet is stopped at 0.02C.

There may be creases on the electrode sheet after rolling on one side. Flattening and packaging may lead to creases.

This product must be tested in accordance with the test methods and electrolytes recommended by

Canrd to achieve the corresponding performance.Since the test method and electrolyte have a great

influence on the performance of the battery, any change in the test method or electrolyte may reduce

the performance of the pole piece; be sure to check this information before purchasing.

First charge and discharge test conditions: temperature 25 ℃, first charge at a constant current of 0.1C to 4.45V, then charge at a constant voltage until the current is less than 0.02C, and then discharge at a constant current of 0.1C to 3.0V

Rate test conditions: Temperature of 25 ℃, first charge at a constant current of 0.5C to 4.45V, then charge at a constant voltage until the current is less than 0.02C, and then discharge at a constant current rate of 0.1C/0.2C/0.5C/1C/2C/3C to 3.0V

Cycle test conditions: temperature 25 ℃, first charge at 0.5C constant current to 4.45V, then charge at constant voltage until the current is less than 0.02C, and then discharge at 1C constant current to 3.0V
