Cell body material: high borosilicate glass
The working electrode, counter electrode and reference electrode of this electrolytic cell shall be matched according to experimental requirements.
The single-layer cell body features an overhead interlayer design, which effectively eliminates solution masking effects.
This electrolytic cell is widely applied in three-electrode systems with a single-cell volume of 10 mL.
The cell adopts a hermetically sealed structure. The cathode and anode compartments are separated by an ion-exchange membrane, and the two compartments are hermetically connected via chain fasteners for convenient membrane replacement. The reference electrode is placed in the same compartment as the working electrode to effectively reduce IR drop.
Hermetic sealing of the electrode assembly is achieved via headphone jack ports on the PTFE lid, allowing internal plug-in and pull-out of electrodes while maintaining full airtightness of the electrode system.
The cell is equipped with a submerged gas sparging device to regulate the gas atmosphere for diverse experimental conditions.
Sampling ports can be additionally installed on the cell body.
Valves are optional add-ons. All hermetic connections are realized through quick-disconnect fittings, which are compatible with 3 mm outer diameter PTFE tubing.
