This product, the Nickel-cobalt-aluminum NCA-S cathode material from Canrd, is developed for advanced lithium-ion battery research and experimental applications. It features a high-nickel ternary composition (Ni, Co, Al) with a polycrystalline, spherical morphology that enables high gram capacity. The material requires vacuum-sealed storage and strict humidity control throughout handling due to its moisture-sensitive nature. When tested, electrodes are baked at 85 °C for 4 hours, and a compatible NCM electrolyte (KLD-1230C) is recommended. Available in 20 g to 1000 g quantities, this cathode material is suited for evaluating high-energy-density cell designs and optimizing electrode processing conditions in academic or industrial labs.
