- The optical window of the cell is made of quartz with light transmittance higher than 95%.
- The optical window section is connected to the cell body via locking rings to ensure tight sealing, enabling quick and convenient replacement of quartz window sheets.
- Atmosphere protection is realized by equipping valves and aeration devices; the valve connected to the aeration unit serves as the gas inlet port.
- Designed as an absolutely sealed system, the cell supports vacuum pumping (below -100 kPa) and mild pressurization. For safety purposes, the internal pressure shall not exceed 0.5 MPa.
- Due to process limitations, the inner glass wall of double-layer cells is relatively thin; pressurization is strictly prohibited for double-layer models.
- Electrodes must be customized for perfect matching with this cell.
- Electrode sealing is realized through audio jacks on the lid, allowing plug-in electrode installation while maintaining absolute tightness of the electrode assembly.
- The cathode compartment and anode compartment are separated by an ion exchange membrane. The two compartments are hermetically connected with locking rings for easy membrane replacement. The reference electrode and working electrode are arranged in the same compartment to effectively reduce IR drop.
- The inner core is made of 360° rotatable PTFE for precise alignment between electrodes and the optical window. Sealing is completed by tightening the outer POM lid.
- The cell is equipped with an underwater aeration device. Different aerator shapes can be selected according to experimental requirements: straight aerators for carbon dioxide reduction experiments, L-shaped aerators for nitrogen reduction experiments.
