Details

This Gas (CO2) reduction device is developed for electrochemical research applications, particularly in energy materials and analytical electrode studies. The cell body, constructed from Peek and organic glass, offers chemical resistance and optical transparency for reaction monitoring. A key design feature is the minimized inter-electrode distance down to 2 mm, which enhances reaction efficiency by reducing ohmic losses. The flow channel employs stainless steel contact electrodes, while the electrode end utilizes graphite combined with gold-plated metal components for reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the reference electrode is directly inserted into the liquid flow channel, enabling accurate potential control during CO₂ reduction experiments. This configuration supports a range of electro catalytic studies requiring precise electrode positioning and stable operation under controlled conditions.

Minimum distance between positive and negative electrodes can be reduced to 2mm

Stainless steel contact electrodes are used at the flow channel end

Graphite + gold-plated metal parts are used at the electrode end
