Model: DQ‑1
‑ Capacitive Deionization (CDI) is a water desalination and purification technology based on electrical double‑layer capacitance theory. Its working principle: when a low voltage is applied to the electrodes, cations, anions and charged particles in the solution migrate towards the respective electrodes under electric‑field force and concentration gradient, and get adsorbed on electrode surfaces to form an electrical double‑layer for desalination and water purification. This technology is also referred to as Electrosorption Technique (EST).
