Product Description & Recommendations
- The optical window of the cell is made of quartz with a light transmittance of over 95%.
- The optical window assembly is connected to the cell body via locking rings to ensure tight sealing and facilitate quick replacement of quartz window sheets.
- This cell adopts a fully sealed system. Vacuum pumping (below -100 kPa) can be realized through the valve, and slight pressurization is supported. For safety purposes, the pressure shall not exceed 0.5 MPa.
- Pressurization is prohibited for double-layer cells due to thin inner glass walls resulting from manufacturing limitations.
- Custom electrodes are required to perfectly match this cell.
- The reference electrode and working electrode are placed in separate compartments connected by a Luggin capillary to effectively reduce IR drop.
- The tip bore diameter of the Luggin capillary extending into the working electrode compartment shall not exceed 0.2 mm.
- Agar gel can be filled inside the Luggin capillary to slow down the flow rate of electrolyte.
- The reference electrode compartment adopts internal thread sealing. Complete sealing must be ensured during operation to prevent electrolyte leakage between the reference electrode compartment and working electrode compartment caused by the communicating vessel effect.
- This cell is widely applied in three-electrode systems. Its available volume ranges from 30 mL to 500 mL, and customized volumes are acceptable upon request.
- Sampling ports are not equipped as standard; a separate quotation is required if sampling ports are needed.
