  • Cell body material: high borosilicate glass
  • This electrolytic cell separates the reference electrode compartment from the working electrode compartment, which are connected via a Luggin capillary to effectively reduce IR drop.
  • The tip section of the Luggin capillary extending into the working electrode compartment has an aperture smaller than 0.2 mm.
  • Agar gel can be filled inside the Luggin capillary to slow down electrolyte flow velocity.
  • The reference electrode compartment adopts an internal thread sealing structure. Tight sealing is mandatory during operation to prevent liquid leakage between the reference and working electrode compartments caused by communicating vessel effect.
  • Electrodes can be matched as required, and all fitted electrodes shall be extended type.
  • The single-layer cell body features an interlayer hollow design to eliminate solution shielding effects.
  • This cell system adopts relative hermetic sealing. The cathode and anode compartments are separated by an ion exchange membrane, and the two compartments are hermetically connected with chain fasteners for convenient membrane replacement.
  • The inner core is made of 360° rotatable polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), enabling precise alignment between electrodes and flow channels (electrodes are generally parallel to the membrane).
  • Submerged gas sparging fittings are supplied. Spargers of various shapes can be selected to create target atmospheres according to different experimental requirements.
