Solid state battery insulation mold description

2. The insulating mold is made of PPS material to protect the exterior parts and ceramic (or PEEK) liner, which has the characteristics of high hardness, good toughness, excellent finish, accurate accuracy, long life, and convenient replacement of wearing parts.

Installation and pressurization process:

In the glove box, the mold sleeve is placed on the bottom of the mold, and the tablet press spiral screw is rotated down until it is pressed against the pressure bar. After the required pressure is added, the top screw of the transfer fixture is tightened again to achieve the sealing effect, and the glove box is removed for testing in a normal environment. (can also apply a small amount of vacuum grease or petroleum jelly to the gap between the pressing bar and the inner mold sleeve, and then take out the glove box for testing)

Notes:

1. When using the mold, the limit of the maximum working pressure of the abrasive tool must be observed.

2. Exceeding the working limit pressure will cause damage to the abrasive, and the maximum working pressure of the abrasive tool of different diameters is different;

3. After the mold is used, the mold should be cleaned and dried, and the inside of the mold and the mold should be protected by lubricating grease to prevent surface oxidation and corrosion, and then placed in a dry and closed environment for maintenance.

4. The solid-state battery test abrasive is used in the characteristics test of the solid-state battery, the insulating abrasive is stuck with a transfer fixture in the glove box, put it in the tablet press to press to the appropriate pressure, tighten the screws on the fixed abrasive, and take out the transfer fixture and the insulating abrasive together for testing.
