This water-based dispersion of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), developed by Tuball under model MA-EN-CO-0010, is formulated as a conductive additive for lithium-ion battery electrodes. Containing 0.4 wt% SWCNTs, 99.0 wt% water, and 0.6 wt% dispersant, the dispersion exhibits non-Newtonian fluid behavior with pseudoplastic and thixotropic properties—viscosity changes with both shear rate and shear time, enabling efficient processing and uniform distribution in electrode slurries. The product is designed for use in high-performance battery manufacturing, where it enhances electronic conductivity and mechanical integrity of electrode films. It has a shelf life of one year when stored sealed at room temperature, and is available in 500 g and 1000 g packaging sizes.
