This product is designed as a sodium-ion solid electrolyte based on MgO-doped β”-Al2O3 with a particle size of approximately 10 μm. The material features a trigonal layered aluminate structure, where the incorporation of MgO enhances thermal stability while substituting Al³⁺ increases Na⁺ concentration, thereby improving ionic conductivity. Developed for advanced battery research, this oxide solid electrolyte is suitable for use in sodium-ion solid-state batteries and related electrochemical systems. The fine particle size facilitates processing in composite electrolyte formulations or as a standalone ceramic component. Available from Canrd under model MA-EN-SS-0044, it is offered in laboratory-scale quantities for experimental evaluation.

β"-Al2O3 is an aluminate with a trigonal layered structure, and the incorporation of MgO improves the thermal stability of β"-Al2O3, and the ionic conductivity is increased by substituting Al3+ to increase the concentration of Na+.
