Details

This product is designed for use as a binder in the positive electrode of lithium-ion batteries, where it plays a critical role in maintaining structural integrity between active materials and the current collector. Manufactured by Arkema, the PVDF 900 (HSV900) is a high-purity polyvinylidene fluoride produced via emulsion polymerization, featuring a molecular weight of approximately 1 million and a fine particle size of 30 microns. These characteristics contribute to strong dissolving ability, excellent processing performance, and minimal powder loss during cycling. The binder also exhibits high viscosity and adhesiveness in certain solvents, ensuring reliable electrode cohesion. For long-term stability, it should be stored in sealed containers at room temperature in a ventilated, dry, and light-shielded environment to prevent moisture absorption. With a shelf life of two years, this material is suitable for laboratory-scale and research-level battery electrode fabrication.

1. This product is suitable as a binder for the positive electrode of lithium-ion batteries;

2. It is recommended to store in a ventilated, dry, and light-shielded cool environment to prevent moisture absorption.

HSV900 is emulsion polymerized with a molecular weight of 1 million and smaller particle size of 30 microns. It is pure PVDF, so it has good processing performance, no powder loss during cycling, and stronger dissolving ability.
