Details
This Ni92 single crystal cathode material is developed for high-energy-density lithium-ion battery research, featuring a high nickel content (92 mol% Ni) with a single crystal morphology. It delivers an initial discharge capacity of 210 mAh/g and a first cycle efficiency of 87.4% at 0.1C. The material exhibits a D50 particle size around 3.5 μm, a BET specific surface area of 0.82 m²/g, and low residual lithium levels (Li₂CO₃ 0.23%, LiOH 0.29%). Due to its hygroscopic nature, vacuum-sealed storage in a cool, dry environment is required. It is designed for use with ternary electrolyte under controlled baking conditions, making it suitable for evaluating high-nickel cathode performance in coin or pouch cell studies.
Materials need to be stored in vacuum seal
The electrolyte used during the test is: ternary electrolyte (KLD-1230C)
Baking conditions for pole slices: 85℃ bake for 4 hours
Lithium-ion battery ternary positive electrode material, high nickel, high gram capacity
Micromorphology: single crystal or single crystal
