This separator is developed for advanced battery systems, featuring a double-sided single coating structure with a 9 μm PE base film, a 2 μm alumina ceramic layer, and a 2 μm LATP solid electrolyte coating. The ceramic coating enhances thermal stability by reducing heat shrinkage, improving battery safety, while the LATP layer provides good lithium-ion conductivity with a lower gram weight than alumina at the same thickness, supporting higher energy density. Key technical characteristics include low internal resistance, high puncture strength (503 gf), and excellent breathability (167 sec/100 ml), contributing to favorable rate performance. It is suitable for liquid lithium, solid-liquid hybrid, and semi-solid-state batteries in coin or pouch cell formats, though not for pure solid-state or sodium batteries. The separator is best handled in a dry room and stored sealed; in lithium metal batteries, the LATP-coated side should face the cathode for optimal performance.

It can be used for liquid lithium batteries, solid-liquid hybrid batteries and semi-solid-state batteries, for coin batteries and pouch cells, not for pure solid-state batteries, and not for sodium batteries. It is more stable when exposed to air, but it is best to operate in a dry room and store it in a sealed seal after use. The effect of placing the separator in the whole battery is different depending on the orientation, and you need to test it yourself. In lithium metal batteries, it is best to place the LATP-coated side towards the cathode electrode.
