This hard carbon cloth (HCP331N, hydrophilic type) is developed for use as a flexible electrode substrate in fuel cells and lithium-air batteries, particularly under acidic electrolyte conditions. With a thickness of 0.3 ± 0.02 mm and an area resistance of ≤12 mΩ·cm², it offers low ohmic loss suitable for high-performance electrochemical testing. The material weighs between 150 and 190 g/m² and features a rigid texture for structural integrity during assembly. Its hydrophilic surface treatment enhances electrolyte wettability, improving ion transport in gas diffusion electrode configurations. Common applications include proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), direct methanol fuel cells, and lithium-air battery cathodes.
