Internal Reflection Mode

A nano-gold film is fabricated via electroless plating on window substrates such as monocrystalline silicon (Si) to serve as the conductive substrate. Electrocatalysts are loaded on its surface to form the working electrode.

External Reflection Mode

Electrocatalysts are loaded on the surface of a glassy carbon substrate to fabricate the working electrode. The electrode is integrated with a micrometer, which enables flexible adjustment of the gap between the working electrode and crystal, so as to regulate the thickness of the infrared liquid layer and the intensity of reflection signals.

This reaction cell is an upgraded high-pressure version developed based on the atmospheric-pressure H-type in-situ infrared test cell. The cell body is made of high-purity titanium and sealed with stainless steel bolts; electrodes are internally fixed for high safety and reliability.
  • Infrared window material: Monocrystalline silicon (customizable calcium fluoride or zinc selenide windows available)
  • Housing material: High-purity titanium
