This dry-coated carbon aluminum foil is developed as a current collector for advanced battery applications, particularly in lithium-ion cells requiring enhanced interfacial properties. The product features a single-sided carbon coating (1 µm coating on a 12 µm aluminum substrate) with a total foil width of 200 mm and a coating width of approximately 171.5 mm. It exhibits a minimum tensile strength of 220 MPa and elongation of 2.5%, ensuring sufficient mechanical integrity during electrode processing. A surface wetting tension of at least 64 dyne/cm indicates good electrolyte wettability, which can improve electrode-electrolyte interface stability. The foil is supplied in sealed aluminum-plastic film packaging and should be stored at room temperature in a dry environment to preserve its performance. This material is suitable for research and production of high-performance battery electrodes where low contact resistance and uniform current distribution are required.
