Details

This product is designed for researchers assembling coin cells for electrochemical testing in battery, fuel cell, and electrolysis applications. Made from 316L stainless steel with Japanese processing, the CR2032 case set includes positive and negative shells, a PP gasket, spacer (15×1.4 mm), and wave spring (16×0.5 mm). The separated PP gasket ensures precise assembly alignment, with the open side facing the negative case. Its slightly larger overall diameter requires a compatible crimping machine for proper sealing. Cleaning recommendations involve ultrasonic washing with deionized water or neutral solvents, though the positive shell should avoid ultrasound to prevent scratching. This set is suited for long-cycle testing and catalyst evaluation, providing reliable containment for electrode materials and electrolytes in standard lab coin cell configurations.

Note: Measurements are taken manually; slight deviations may occur.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Assembly sequence:
Positive Case → Electrode → Separator → Gasket → Lithium Foil → Spacer → Spring → Negative Case
  2. A small amount of electrolyte can be added before placing the electrode, separator, and lithium foil to help position and secure the components. Add the remaining electrolyte before final sealing.
  3. The gasket has a top and bottom side. The open side (larger inner diameter) should face the negative case during assembly.
  4. The overall diameter of this coin cell case is larger than standard coin cell cases. Please use a compatible crimping machine for proper sealing.

Cleaning Recommendations for Positive Case, Gasket, Spacer, Spring, and Negative Case

  1. Use an alkaline or neutral solvent (e.g., deionized water) and perform ultrasonic cleaning for 10–20 minutes.
  2. Rinse with deionized water using ultrasonic cleaning 2–3 times, 1–2 minutes each time.
  3. ⚠️ Note: The positive case is prone to scratches when in contact with other parts; ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended.

  4. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
