Product Description & Recommendations:

  • Cell body material: High borosilicate glass
  • Valves and gas bubbling fittings are installed on the cell to realize atmosphere shielding.
  • This fully airtight cell can be vacuumed to a pressure below -100 kPa. Mild pressurization is supported, while the maximum safe working pressure shall not exceed 0.5 MPa.
  • Custom electrodes are required to perfectly match this electrolytic cell.
  • Electrodes can be inserted and removed internally through audio jack connectors on the lid to maintain full airtightness of the electrode system.
  • The single-layer cell body adopts an overhead partition design to effectively eliminate solution dead volume.
  • As a fully sealed electrolytic cell, its cathode and anode compartments are separated by an ion exchange membrane. The two compartments are hermetically connected via a chain structure for convenient membrane replacement. The reference electrode and working electrode are arranged in the same compartment to effectively reduce IR drop.
  • The glass sealing ports are designed with external threads. The rotatable 360° PTFE inner core ensures electrodes align precisely with corresponding channels, and sealing is achieved by tightening the outer POM cover.
  • It is equipped with a submerged gas bubbling device. Bubblers of different shapes can be selected for different experimental atmosphere requirements: straight bubbler for CO₂ reduction, L-shaped bubbler for nitrogen reduction.
  • The double-layer cell integrates a constant-temperature water bath function. Continuously circulated thermostatted water keeps the test solution inside the cell at a constant temperature.
  • Valves are not standard accessories. A separate quotation is required if valves are needed; the optional valve assembly supports nitrogen purging for deoxygenation and vacuum pumping. An extra quotation will also be provided for an additional sampling port.
