It features excellent electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance due to the high-purity carbon matrix. The surface is smooth and uniform, with fibers aligned in one direction, minimizing irregularities. Available in 5% hydrophobic PTFE-treated formats, it comes in common sheet sizes (9×10 cm and 19×20 cm) with a standard thickness of 280 μm. Typical applications include serving as a gas diffusion layer or electrode substrate, where consistent performance and durability under electrochemical conditions are required.
