Made from high-quality cotton fibers, the pulp undergoes treatment with hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid followed by distilled water washing to remove most impurities, resulting in an extremely low ash content (less than 0.01%) that ensures minimal interference with analytical results. Available in diameters of 7 cm, 9 cm, and 11 cm, the paper offers three filtration speeds—fast (80–120 µm pore size, <35 s), medium (30–50 µm, 35–70 s), and slow (1–3 µm, 70–140 s)—with a consistent basis weight of 80 ± 4 g/m². During the manufacturing process of quantitative filter paper, the pulp is treated with hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and then washed with distilled water to remove most impurities in the paper fibers.
