Details

This product is a domestic platinum black catalyst developed for advanced electrochemical applications, including fuel cells, sensors, and hydrogen electrodes. It features a high specific surface area and excellent catalytic activity, which significantly reduce overpotential in hydrogen evolution and oxidation reactions. In proton exchange membrane and alkaline fuel cells, it accelerates oxygen reduction and hydrogen oxidation reactions, enhancing energy conversion efficiency. It is also suitable for direct methanol fuel cells, microbial fuel cells, and phosphoric acid fuel cells. Additionally, it is employed in electrochemical gas sensors for hydrogen detection and biosensors. The material supports diverse research and industrial uses such as chemical synthesis, electronics, and optics. Due to precious metal price fluctuations, final pricing is determined upon customer consultation.

This is an anti-bidding price. Due to the large fluctuations in precious metal prices, please consult customer service for the real-time price.

Platinum black catalysts are commonly used in fuel cells, sensors, hydrogen electrodes, chemical synthesis, chemical analysis, electronics, optics and other fields.
Hydrogen electrode: Platinum black is an ideal hydrogen electrode material. Due to its extremely high specific surface area and excellent catalytic activity, it can greatly reduce the overpotential of hydrogen evolution and oxidation reaction.
Fuel cell electrode: In proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) and alkaline fuel cell (AFC), platinum black is often used to modify the electrode. It can accelerate the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and hydrogen oxidation reaction (HOR), and improve the energy conversion efficiency of fuel cells. In PEMFC, platinum black can effectively reduce the dynamic polarization in the process of ORR, and can also be used in direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC), microbial fuel cell (MFC) and phosphoric acid fuel cell (PAFC).
Electrochemical sensors: used to prepare various electrochemical sensors, such as gas sensors (detecting hydrogen, oxygen, etc.) and biosensors. In the electrochemical sensor for the detection of hydrogen, the platinum black electrode can quickly absorb hydrogen and generate a measurable current signal through the electrochemical oxidation reaction to achieve high sensitivity detection of hydrogen concentration.
