This sodium electrolyte, formulated as 1.0 M NaPF6 in a 1:1 volume ratio of propylene carbonate (PC) and ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC), with 5.0% fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) as a film-forming additive, is developed for advanced sodium battery research. The combination of a cyclic and linear carbonate solvent system offers balanced ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability, while the FEC additive enhances solid-electrolyte interphase formation on anode surfaces.
