This sodium electrolyte (KLD-NC14) is a ready-to-use formulation designed for sodium-ion battery research, featuring 1.0 M NaClO₄ dissolved in a ternary solvent mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC), propylene carbonate (PC), and diethyl carbonate (DEC) at a 1:1:1 volume ratio, with 5% fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) as an additive. The inclusion of FEC enhances the formation of a stable solid electrolyte interphase on electrode surfaces, which is critical for improving cycling stability and coulombic efficiency in sodium-based systems. This electrolyte is suited for evaluating sodium-ion cell performance, including half-cells and full cells with common anode materials. Available in multiple quantities from 50 g to 1 kg, it supports both preliminary screening and scaling studies.
