This nickel foam with a 1.0 mm thickness is developed as a high‑performance porous current collector and substrate for energy storage and conversion devices such as supercapacitors, fuel cells, and battery electrodes. Its three‑dimensional network structure provides a large specific surface area and excellent electrical conductivity, while maintaining a low density. The material exhibits good thermal and chemical stability, withstanding temperatures above 1100 °C and resisting acid and alkali corrosion, making it suitable for harsh electrolyte environments. The thickness tolerance is controlled within 0–0.05 mm, ensuring consistent performance. Common applications include use as a catalyst carrier, a lightweight collector in alkaline or neutral electrolyte systems, and a structural support for electrode coatings. Its uniform porosity also facilitates efficient gas and fluid transport, critical for electrochemical reactions.

Nickel foam thickness tolerance: 0-0.05mm

1. Lightweight: It has the largest specific surface area, with a specific gravity of 0.2~0.3, which is 1/4 of water, 1/3 of wood, 1/10 of aluminum (metal), and 1/30 of iron, making it extremely lightweight.

3. Electronic wave shielding: It can shield electronic waves of about 90dB effectively due to its relatively thin thickness.
