This product is a double-sided, double-coated LATP solid-state electrolyte separator designed for advanced lithium battery systems. It features a 9 μm polyethylene base film, with a total thickness of 13.4 μm, coated on one side with 2 μm of boehmite ceramic and on the other side with 2 μm of boehmite plus 1 μm of LATP solid electrolyte. The boehmite coating offers lower density and improved coverage compared to alumina, enhancing mechanical strength and thermal stability, while the LATP layer provides good lithium-ion conductivity. With high puncture resistance and low thermal shrinkage, this separator supports high rate performance and contributes to increased battery energy density. It is compatible with liquid, semi-solid, coin, and pouch cells, but not suitable for pure solid-state or sodium-based batteries. Operation in a dry environment and sealed storage after use are recommended to maintain stability.

The advantages of this separators are high strength, high breathability, high thermal shrinkage temperature, good rate performance, and high battery thermal runaway temperature. Using 9um PE base film, which has higher strength than 7um base film; Compared to alumina, boehmite has a lower density, and AlOOH of the same mass covers 25% more area than high-purity Al2O3; And the boehmite coating has high flatness and low internal resistance; The double-layer boehmite coating makes the separator more heat-resistant; Organic solvents have good compatibility and good wettability; LATP coating has good lithium ion conductivity and lower weight than alumina coating at the same thickness, which can improve the energy density of the battery to a certain extent.

Can be used for liquid lithium batteries, semi-solid lithium batteries, button batteries, and soft pack batteries, but cannot be used for pure solid state batteries or sodium batteries. Stable when exposed to air, but it is best to operate in a dry room and store in a sealed container after use.
