Details

This highly ordered platinum‑cobalt alloy catalyst is developed for proton exchange membrane fuel cell applications, where it enables a significant reduction in platinum loading while maintaining high membrane electrode performance and durability. With an average particle size of 3.6 nm and a platinum content of ≥50 wt% (customizable), it achieves an electrochemical active surface area of 60 m²/g (via H‑adsorption) and a mass activity of 0.6 A/mg Pt at 0.9 V vs. RHE. In film electrode tests at a loading of 0.1 mg Pt/cm², the catalyst delivers a power density exceeding 1.1 W/cm² at 2 A/cm². Accelerated stress testing shows less than 10% loss in ECSA and a voltage loss below 30 mV at 0.8 A/cm², confirming excellent stability. This product is well suited for researchers optimizing catalyst layers in low‑platinum fuel cell systems.

This is an anti-bidding price. Due to the large fluctuations in precious metal prices, please consult customer service for the real-time price.

A highly ordered PtCo alloy catalyst can greatly reduce the amount of Pt used while maintaining high performance and stability of the membrane electrode.
