Details

This product is a lithiated polyacrylic acid (PAALi) binder, developed specifically for silicon-based anode research. As a water-based binder with a pH of approximately 8, it minimizes interference with the initial Coulombic efficiency of electrode materials. PAALi offers strong adhesion between active materials and current collectors, along with robust electrochemical stability and high polymer strength to accommodate the volume expansion of silicon anodes during cycling, thereby enhancing cycle life. The binder can be used directly or diluted with deionized water, and it maintains its bonding performance under high-speed mixing, allowing flexible adjustment of slurry viscosity for coating processes. Available in 20g, 100g, 500g, and 1000g sizes, it suits both coin cell and pouch cell fabrication, making it a practical component for silicon-carbon anode development.

Usage and Precautions:

- Can be used directly or diluted with deionized water.

- Can be added to the reactor with the powder and high-speed stirring will not affect the bonding performance.

- Adjust the water dosage according to the actual process to control the final slurry viscosity.

- Disperse to the desired fineness, screen, remove bubbles, and discharge.

1. Excellent bonding performance, providing good adhesion between electrode materials and between electrode materials and current collector substrate.

2. Stable quality, suitable for commercial mass production.

3. Good electrochemical stability, high polymer strength, can adapt to the volume expansion of silicon anode, excellent cycling performance, widely used in silicon anode research.

4. Convenient for pouch cells and coin cells.

5. Lithiated PAA, pH~8, does not affect the initial efficiency of the material.
