This double-sided single-coated ceramic separator, comprising a 9 µm polyethylene (PE) base film with a 2 µm ceramic coating (CCS) on each side, is developed for advanced lithium-ion battery research requiring enhanced thermal stability and mechanical integrity. The ceramic layers improve dimensional shrinkage resistance at elevated temperatures and help suppress internal short circuits, making the membrane suitable for high-safety cell testing and prototype development. The uniform coating on both sides ensures consistent ionic transport and electrode isolation. Available in roll lengths of 500 m and 10 m on a 63.5 mm width, this product supports scalable laboratory evaluation from coin cells to pouch cells, particularly in studies focused on next-generation separators for energy-dense or high-rate applications.
