Toray Carbon Paper is a high-temperature heat-treated porous C/C composite product (composite of carbon fiber and carbon) that is used in fuel cell electrode substrates and other electrode applications due to its excellent characteristics.
Characteristics:
1. High conductivity: Carbon fiber has strong conductivity due to its arrangement of carbon elements.
2. High strength: Thin and high strength, with excellent compression characteristics.
3. High gas permeability: High porosity (approximately 78%), allowing easy passage of other substances.
4. Corrosion resistance: Excellent corrosion resistance due to minimal impurities and only high-temperature-treated carbon.
5. Surface smoothness: Carbon fiber distribution in a single direction results in excellent surface smoothness with fewer surface irregularities.
6. Good uniformity and consistency.

Product Introduction:
- Toray Paper 090-TGP-H-090 is a carbon fiber composite paper suitable for use as a catalyst backing layer. It has a total thickness of 280 microns. Toray Paper 090 is an excellent low-cost alternative to traditional woven carbon fiber cloth gas diffusion layer (GDL) material.
- Toray Carbon Paper 090 comes with standard 5% moisture-proof sampling. The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) imparts hydrophobicity to the carbon material, making it a better electrode backing material.
- Customized discounts, sizes, and moisture-proof properties are available upon request.
