The material is typically tested using CC-CV charging and DC discharge protocols with a dedicated NCM electrolyte (KLD-1230C), and requires electrode baking at 85 °C for 4 hours. Due to its hygroscopic nature, the powder must be stored in a vacuum-sealed aluminum-plastic film packaging within a cool, dry environment. Available in 20 g to 1000 g quantities, this NCM 111-A variant provides a consistent baseline for studying cathode behavior in energy storage systems.
