This lithium battery electrolyte, KLD-TF20 from Canrd, is formulated with 1.0 M lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (LiTFSI) dissolved in a 1:1 volumetric mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC) and diethyl carbonate (DEC), plus 10% fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) as a functional additive. Designed for experimental and energy materials research, this electrolyte offers high ionic conductivity and enhanced electrochemical stability. The inclusion of FEC is known to promote the formation of a stable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on electrode surfaces, improving cycle life and rate capability in lithium-ion batteries.
