Product introduction:
Quantitative filter paper is mainly used for weighing analysis in which the filtered residue needs to be incinerated, such as quantitative chemical analysis experiments and corresponding analysis experiments. The ash weight of each filter paper after incineration is a constant value. Qualitative filter paper is used for general filtration purposes, such as qualitative chemical analysis and corresponding filtration separation.
During the manufacturing process of quantitative filter paper, the pulp is treated with hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and then washed with distilled water to remove most impurities in the paper fibers. Therefore, the residual ash content after combustion is very low and has almost no influence on the analysis results, making it suitable for precise quantitative analysis.
