This product, the Canrd lithium battery electrolyte (KLD-TF25), is formulated with 1.0M LiTFSI dissolved in a 1:1 vol% mixture of ethylene carbonate (EC) and diethyl carbonate (DEC), incorporating 5.0% fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) as an additive. It is developed for advanced energy storage research, where high ionic conductivity, wide electrochemical stability, and reliable cycling performance are essential. The combination of LiTFSI—known for its superior thermal and electrochemical stability—with EC/DEC solvent provides effective electrolyte wetting and low-temperature performance, while FEC promotes stable solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) formation on both anode and cathode surfaces. This electrolyte is particularly suited for evaluating next-generation lithium battery chemistries, including high-voltage cathode materials and lithium metal anodes, in laboratory-scale coin cells or pouch cells.
