DETAILS
This PTFE groove mold is developed for use in laboratory-scale material fabrication, particularly in battery research and electrode preparation. Constructed from corrosion-resistant polytetrafluoroethylene, the mold is lightweight and easy to handle, facilitating efficient sample mounting and demolding. It features precision-machined grooves with a depth of 3 mm (±0.5 mm) available in 16 mm or 19 mm diameters, arranged in a 9-hole pattern on a 10×100×100 mm substrate. The design supports reproducible pellet or electrode formation, and custom groove dimensions can be accommodated to meet specific experimental requirements. Common applications include the preparation of coin-cell electrodes, solid-state electrolyte disks, or other powder-compacted specimens where chemical inertness and dimensional consistency are needed. Practical for researchers working with moisture-sensitive or corrosive materials, this tool offers a reliable and adaptable solution for routine sample preparation workflows.
