Details

This product is a sodium battery electrolyte designed for advanced energy storage research. Formulated with 1.0 M sodium hexafluorophosphate (NaPF6) dissolved in a 1:1 vol% mixture of propylene carbonate (PC) and ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC), and stabilized with 1.0% fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC) as an additive, this electrolyte supports stable sodium-ion electrochemistry. The PC:EMC dual-solvent system provides a balanced combination of low viscosity and high dielectric constant, enabling good ionic conductivity over a wide temperature range. The FEC additive contributes to the formation of a stable solid-electrolyte interphase on sodium anodes, enhancing cycling performance. This electrolyte is widely used in laboratory-scale coin cells and pouch cells for evaluating sodium-based cathode and anode materials, as well as for investigating interfacial reactions and sodium plating/stripping behavior. Available in multiple package sizes from 50 g to 1000 g, it accommodates both small-scale screening and larger experimental studies.
